Christmas in Great Malvern gets off to a bang with a full day of festivities on Saturday 3rd December 2011. Bring the whole family along to enjoy music, arts, entertainment, shopping and so much more.
The day includes our fabulous festive arts and craft market, a bigger than ever local food market, Wyvern FM and a host of local choirs, musicians and dance groups, street entertainers, face painting, and of course Santa in his Grotto at Malvern Library.
And as the light fades, the grand lantern parade will set off at 5.45pm heading up Church Street. With hundreds of lanterns created by local children, dancers, stilt walkers and a fabulous Pirate Ship it will be a sight to behold!
The lights will be switched on at 6pm by star of BBC's Waterloo Road and star of this year’s pantomime, Philip Martin Brown (aka Grantly Budgen). Oh, and we promise it will snow again!!
