After a day filled with entertainment & activities be sure not to miss the evening's main entertainment! The lantern parade up the high street will kick-off the Big Light Switch-on including the Samba band that will take you up to the main stage on Belle Vue Island. Once again Wyvern FM will be hosting this year's Switch-on, with special guest appearances by Amy Thompson, from Channel 5’s Milkshake and Daisy the Cow! Needless to say it will be an evening not to be missed, with loads of fun and entertainment for all the family. You will find a complete list of all of the evening’s events below.
With amazing energy this year's Samba band will create infectious rhythms that you just won't be able to resist dancing to! Follow the band as they lead you up Church Street to the main stage on Belle Vue Island for the Big Light Switch-on.

The Wyvern FM crew will be hosting a range of family competitions and games to get everyone in the mood for the Big Light Switch-on.
Where: Belle Vue Island | When: 4pm – 4:45pm
Kids of all ages will be showing off their hand made lanterns in this spectacular parade up Church Street. They will also be joined by the lively Samba band so join the parade as it makes its way towards the main stage, ready for the Big Light Switch-on!

Refuel after your jam-packed day with some local, freshly-made food and drinks. To get your mouth watering, Lyttleton Well will be providing a hog roast complete with stuffing and apple sauce. Or why not sample the delights of Belle Vue Delicatessen where delicious freshly made soup & barbequed Italian sausage sandwiches will be on offer.
