Meet Bjorn the Polar Bear

Polar Bears have migrated to Great Malvern! Come to Belle Vue Island on Saturday 22nd December and meet Bjorn the Polar Bear and his handler Ursula who will teach you all about this magnificent creature and you may even be able to stroke him…don't worry, he doesn't bite!

Where: Belle Vue Island or if raining in the Priory

Get ready for a sensory feast with our arts & crafts markets in Great Malvern. On Sat 1st, 8th and 22nd December some of the very best local artists & craftsmen will be here to solve your pressie problems.

Last minute Christmas shopping

Great Malvern's many shops and boutiques will be the perfect places to go for all those last minute Christmas pressies!

Santa's Grotto

All kids are invited to meet Santa and his Reindeer and elves at the Coach House theatres on Friday 30th and every Saturday leading up to the big day. He'll be handing out pressies to all the good boys and girls.

Free Face Painting

The good people at iapetus gallery and Little Shop of Wonders are laying on free face painting in their alley for all kiddies. The face painting will be done by the amazingly talented local artist, Jamunaz.

Theatre of Small Convenience

A Tale from the Snowcake Man will be shown on demand at the Theatre of Small Convenience.

The Priory will be joining in with the festivities opening the ringing tower from 10-2pm and showing their new exhibition of the the true meaning of the twelve days of Christmas which runs until 22nd December.

Christmas Post Box

To make sure your child's letter of Christmas wishes gets to Santa on time drop into the Tourist Information Office on Church Street where they have a magic post box which will wing them straight to Lapland.

Busk Stop

Local musicians and performers will be invited to pitch-up in Great Malvern each Saturday to perform up to 30 minute sets for the passing public. Each performer will be given £5 for their performance by MHDC.
